My Final Geno Bernardo Meal At Nove Italiano
on
Like so many other foodies in the valley, I was totally bummed out when I learned Chef Geno Bernardo would be leaving Nove Italiano. (His last night is Saturday.) Geno has been running the kitchen at Nove since it opened, and although we got off to a rough start when I gave his restaurant a negative review in 2006, over the years, he’s become one of my favorite local chefs. In fact, for the past three years, Nove has been unanimously declared an “essential” Las Vegas restaurant in Eating Las Vegas.
Last week, I joined my friend LeAnne Notabartolo and her family as they celebrated her birthday at Nove. As you can see, Geno pulled out all the stops for an incredible feast. I have to thank them for inviting me along for one last meal of his atop The Palms. And thanks Geno, for all the great food and great conversation over the years. David Burke and New York City have a huge treat in store for them.
