Sterling Brunch At Bally’s
on
As a general rule, I’m not a fan of buffets. In fact, I hate them. For one thing, they’re not the bargains people think they are, since you end up paying for all of wasted food people pile high on their plates and then don’t eat. There’s an exception to every rule however. And one buffet that has never disappointed me is Sterling Brunch, which is offered every Sunday at Bally’s Steakhouse. Thanks to my friends at Caesars, I had the chance to check it out again this week.
Yeah it’s $85. But that includes all the lobster you can eat, as well as sushi, lamb, prime rib, paella and some extremely tasty domestic farm-raised caviar. The value, however, really lies in the champagne: unlimited Perrier Jouet – which some restaurants in this town sell for $85 a bottle.
Since I have a policy against reviewing comp’d meals, I won’t go into details on my favorite and least favorite dishes. I’ll simply say that while some were better than others, the overall quality was great. Yes, it’s a buffet. But it’s a damn good one! Here are a few photos.
