Truffles, Truffles, Truffles
on
As any foodie knows, this is the most wonderful time of the year for lovers of the prized white truffles. I was just about to put together a roundup of the best places in town to enjoy them, but the good people at Eater beat me to it, so I’ll let you read it over there. However, I just heard from my friends at Marche Bacchus that they have less than a dozen seats left for their one-night-only truffle tasting menu. The five-course meal will feature caviar blinis, seared scallop with cauliflower cream and white truffle, a veal sweetbread and duck egg ravioli with white truffles, American Waygu beef with Bordelaise sauce and white truffles and warm camembert with white truffles. The price, including a wine pairing is $275. Seats are going quickly, so if you want to get in on it, you’d better act fast.
