Who Shucks & Who Swallows?

First Food and Bar once again hosted the annual Shuck & Swallow competition to benefit Three Square. A boatload of local restaurants came out to see how many oysters a two-person team could consume in ten minutes – one shucking, the other swallowing. It was a blast, with Sammy D. pouring Jameson and pickle juice shots, Dave and DJ from KXTE offering a play-by-play analysis, and the Bar + Bistro team eating their oysters from the cleavage of a very large pair of breasts, and chasing them with tequila. In the end, the home team won. The guys from First put away and amazing 143 oysters! Congrats. And thanks to everyone who came out to support a great cause.
